Take the step and be part of the change
Consuming renewable energy through a cooperative is not only a responsible decision, but also a commitment to a fairer and more sustainable future.
Energy cooperatives always place people at the centre. We offer 100% renewable energy, fair prices and a model based on participation, proximity and transparency.
You know where your energy comes from, how it is managed and where the resources are being used.
In top of that, you get personalised and honest advice, meant to help you consume better, not more.
With a cooperative, you stop being just a customer and become part of the change.
More than just energy, it’s a commitment to a sustainable and shared future. Are you ready to take the step?

FAQs
Why become a member of a cooperative that is a member of Unión Renovables?
Who can be a member of a cooperative?
Any natural or legal person of Spanish nationality who meets the conditions established in the bylaws of each cooperative.
What does it mean to be a member?
As a consumer and user cooperative, our main activity is the sale and consumption of 100% renewable electricity.
Being a member implies participating in the electricity supply as a basic good.
Membership fees allow you to have at least one supply contract with the cooperative (see the general conditions of the cooperative you wish to join) and participate in the General Assembly.
The activities of the cooperative are designed based on the level of participation and availability of each member.
What is the membership fee?
The membership fee is the amount that must be deposited into the cooperative’s bank account once the membership application has been accepted. This deposit is active throughout the entire membership relationship between the member and the cooperative.
In some cases, new contributions may be proposed, always through agreements reached by the General Assembly, based on emerging challenges, as well as the distribution of cooperative profits among all members or the provision of funds.
How can I sign up for electricity as a cooperative member?
Is electricity really 100% renewable?
Which electricity rate is most interesting to me?
One of our goals is energy savings and efficiency. We help you determine the power rating you’d be interested in and, based on your consumption profile, find the contract that best suits your needs, including whether time-of-day electricity is appropriate.
Are changes to the electrical installation required?
If you already have electricity, this is not necessary. Otherwise, the cooperative will assist you and inform you how to do it.
Who should I call in case of a power outage or breakdown?
You should contact your local electric company, which has a 24-hour incident response line.
In addition to consuming renewable energy from the cooperative, how can I help the cooperative?
You can participate in a variety of ways, such as joining volunteer working groups they form or promote in your local community and sharing the benefits of being a member of an energy cooperative with local people.
